Welcome to my newsletter!
I’m L.E. Guerrero, I’m starting my creative writing journey… Again. Since I want to bring you all into my journey and progress, I thought it would be fun to introduce myself.
I’ve been a writer of some sort since as long as I could remember. I wrote stories, poetry, and journaled before I even knew what journaling is. Writing was always healing.
I write pieces in both English and Spanish. Here I will be sharing both with you all.
I am currently in the process of editing my first work of fiction (romantic suspense) which is a little over 90K words. I will be sharing glimpses into that process as well. (Self-editing is way harder than word vomiting a first draft)
I write angsty, dark stuff. Even if I write a rom-com, the humor will be dark, I just can’t help it.
What will I share here?
I will be sharing a lot of micro-fiction, short stories, things I write from prompts, outcome of writing exercises
Resources that are helping me shape my story, things I find useful, and unsolicited advice that you absolutely don’t have to take.
Books that I’ve been reading and loved.
